Intex has launched a new 4G VoLTE smartphone in India, the Aqua Note 5.5. Priced at Rs. 6,199 (MRP), the smartphone is available to buy via Amazon India at a discounted price of Rs. 5,799. The smartphone’s highlights at this price are its 2800mAh battery, front flash module, and the presence of Android Nougat. It will be available in a Champagne Gold colour variant.

The specifications of the smartphone, the latest Intex device boasts of a 5.5-inch HD 720p IPS display and an average screen-to-body ratio of 70.28%. At its heart, there operates a 1.25GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC. This processor is teamed up with Mali-T720 GPU paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory capacity that can be further expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.
In terms of imaging, the Intex Aqua Note 5.5 features an 8MP main camera at its rear with dual LED flash, HDR, panorama, face detection and more. Up front, there is a 5MP selfie snapper accompanied with selfie flash as well. Running on Android 7.0 Nougat, the Intex smartphone is packed with connectivity aspects such as 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, micro USB port, and dual SIM functionality.
The device draws the necessary power from a 2800mAh battery operating under its hood. The battery is claimed to render up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 250 hours of standby time to the smartphone.
