Vivo V5s with 20MP Selfie Camera & 64GB Internal Storage launched in India | Specifications | Price

Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has launched a new selfie-focused smartphone in India. Priced at Rs. 18,990, the dual-SIM Vivo V5s will go on sale from May 6.

Vivo V5s Specifications and Features

The highlight of Vivo V5 series is undoubtedly the camera, and the same is expected of the Vivo V5s as well. Touted as the ‘perfect selfie’ camera smartphone, the Vivo V5s is expected to feature a 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. The primary camera is likely to be a 13-megapixel sensor with PDAF, f/2.2 aperture and dual-tone LED flash.

Vivo V5s will feature an all-metal unibody design. It will flaunt a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) display with 2.5D curved glass on the top. The handset is expected to be powered by a MediaTek MT6750 octa-core SoC paired with 4GB RAM. There will be 64GB onboard storage that’s expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB) in a hybrid dual-SIM format.

The rest of the features expected include a 3,000mAh battery, fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots (hybrid setup), 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and 3.5 mm audio port. On the software front, it could run on Android Marshmallow 6.0-based FunTouch OS 2.6.
